3 Days Farmers Workshop

With the aim of advocating farmers issue linking with right to food, FIAN Nepal organized a three days workshop in Nepalgunj, Banke at Darbar Hotel from 2-4 October 2012 in joint collaboration with National Federation of Farmers’ Group. 30 farmers representative from 12 district (Banke, Bardiya, Surkhet, Dailekh, Dang, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Kapilbastu, Nawalparasi, Phythan, Salyan and Rupendhi) have participated in the workshop. The workshop concluded that the small holder farmers should get easy access to 15% agri-budget allocated by VDC along with natural resources.
