Extra-territorial States Obligations (ETO)

FIAN Nepal acknowledges that States have obligations related to right to food not only within their national boundaries but also beyond their borders. Due to open borders and high interdependence of national economies, actions taken within one nation or state may impact communities and individuals outside of the state. FIAN Nepal will also collaborate with international stakeholders in dealing with such breaches of extraterritorial obligations (ETOs) within and beyond Nepal.
