Mr. Singh is a founder member of FIAN Nepal and currently serves as its Executive Director, a role he has held since 2015. He holds a master’s degree in Sociology/Anthropology from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and has extensive experience in human rights movements and campaigns across the country.
He joined FIAN Nepal in 2010 as a Program Officer and has since served in various leadership roles. He is recognized as a pioneer in applying a Human Rights-Based Approach to empower marginalized and vulnerable communities, particularly in advancing the right to food.
His areas of expertise include human rights, governance, human resource management, planning, monitoring, and networking. He has facilitated numerous training courses and delivered presentations at both national and international levels. He is also actively engaged in various national and international networks advocating for the realization of human rights, especially the right to food.
