Mr. Thapa began his career as a teacher and has since worked with various organizations including NEWAH, WFP, KIRDARC Nepal, and others in the development sector. He has also played active leadership roles in multiple community institutions, including school management committees and community organizations.
He completed his schooling at Janata Secondary School, Ranibas, and earned a Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) in Education from Surkhet Campus. He later completed his bachelor’s degree from Tribhuvan University and is currently pursuing an LL.B. at Mahendra Multiple Campus and a master’s degree at Mid-Western University.
Currently, he is working in FIAN Nepal and serving as a Program Officer at Chingad Rural Municipality. He has contributed to key social campaigns such as literacy promotion, Open Defecation Free (ODF) initiatives, and COVID-19 response efforts. He is also engaged in supporting local government planning on food security, nutrition, and ecological agriculture.
He is recognized as a committed social leader dedicated to community empowerment and social justice.
